WINE AND OLIVE OIL PRODUCTION

THE FARMING COMPANY

Podere Arundineto is born in the heart of the Bolgheri denomination in an area particularly suited for the production of quality wines, where the proximity to the sea and the unique geological composition of the soil allow for the production of highly esteemed and elegant wines, capable of offering unique organoleptic sensations.
Our wines are produced solely and exclusively from the grapes grown in our vineyards located in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, where we cultivate varietals such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Vermentino, which are then vinified in our wine cellar.
Each varietal is vinified separately and according to scrupulous selection criteria, using for fermentation only the yeasts naturally present on the grapes, therefore not using commercial yeasts. For this reason, our wines are strongly characterized products, which enhance the typicality of Bolgheri.

Our family has always lived in relation with the earth and its products as a natural condition of life, and over time, this relationship has transformed into a passion.
The idea of producing wine is not only a profession but a vocation, a way to enhance and give back to nature a part of what it has given us.
That′s why our wines are consciously made for the environment and for those who enjoy tasting wine.
Our winery, although not ancient, was born from a long-term project that materialized around the year 2000. The project is based on belonging to one of the most prestigious areas of Tuscany and therefore the world, in fact, our vineyards are part of the DOC of Bolgheri, which boasts wines of the highest excellence.
PRODUCTION
WINES AND SPIRITS
We ship our wines all over Italy and abroad. It is also possible to taste and purchase on site, at our sales point on Via Bolgherese, the famous wine road, in Castagneto Carducci (LI).
We are open from May to September.

BOSCATICO SUPERIORE
Bolgheri DOC.
The harvest takes place in our vineyards, located in Bolgheri, manually, carefully selecting the most mature grapes with the best balance.
The vinification takes place in steel containers, without the aid of selected yeasts, with a maceration period on the skins of about four weeks (3 daily pump-overs and frequent punch downs).
At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is directly transferred to small French oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and refines its organoleptic qualities for at least 24 months with the carrying out of multiple rackings to clarify the wine.
Form of cultivation: low spurred cordon.
Color: intense and bright ruby.
Aroma: fragrances of ripe fruit are highlighted with evident hints of spices, leather, cinnamon and vanilla with a slight boisé note in the finish.
Taste: a powerful but at the same time elegant and well-balanced wine, fruity, very pleasant to the taste with well present tannins but of noble constitution.
Gastronomic pairings: savoury dishes of red meat, stewed game, aged and savoury cheeses.
Grapes: Merlot 40%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40% and Petit Verdot 20%.
Alcohol content: 15.5° 2014 and 15° 2019.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
ARUNDINETO IGT
Typical geographical indication. The Arundineto wine is produced with grapes harvested in the company′s vineyards in Bolgheri. The harvest is carried out manually, carefully selecting the grapes, followed by fermentation in steel containers without the use of selected yeasts, with a maceration period on the skins of approximately 22 days during which at least 3 daily rackings are carried out. This is followed by a refinement period in steel for at least 6 months during which the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and refines its organoleptic qualities. Training system: low spurred cordon. Color: intense and bright ruby. Aroma: distinct fruity notes stand out with hints of vanilla and spices. Taste: it is an elegant, fruity wine, very pleasant to the taste with round and well-refined tannins, it presents itself with a marked drinkability due to the tannic balance and the fragrant fruit that characterizes it. Food pairing: flavorful dishes of red meat, stewed game, aged and flavorful cheeses. Grapes: Merlot 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%. Alcohol content: 13%. Serving temperature: 18°C.
VERMENTINO DOC
Vermentino Podere Arundineto is produced with grapes of the Vermentino variety picked from vineyards in the Bolgheri area.
The harvest takes place manually, carefully selecting the grapes. Following the pressing, there is a static clarification at cold temperatures, followed by alcohol fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 16°C.
The wine then further matures in stainless steel for at least 6 months, above the fermentation yeasts, during which the wine develops its organoleptic characteristics and acquires its typical bouquet.
Training system: Low-spurred cordon.
Color: Straw yellow.
Smell: Typical notes of sage and white flowers with pleasant grapefruit and tropical fruit notes.
Taste: It is a wine with an excellent acidic vein, good sapidity to the taste and a long and refreshing finish.
Gastronomic combinations: Fish dishes, white meats, vegetables, and aperitifs.
Grapes: Vermentino 100%.
Alcohol content: 14°.
ROSATO IGT
La raccolta viene effettuata nei nostri vigneti posti in Bolgheri, in maniera manuale.
La vinificazione avviene in contenitori d′acciaio senza l′ausilio di lieviti selezionati. Il periodo di macerazione sulle bucce è di circa 22 giorni durante i quali vengono effettuati 3 rimontaggi giornalieri. Dopo di che per un periodo di almeno 6 mesi (in tini d′acciaio), il vino svolge la fermentazione malolattica e affina le proprie qualità organolettiche.
Forma di allevamento: cordone speronato.
Colore: rosato intenso e brillante.
Profumo: si evidenziano profumi di frutta fresca con piacevoli note di ciliegia.
Sapore: vino con ottima vena acida, di buona sapidità al gusto.
Abbinamenti gastronomici: piatti di pesce in umido, carni bianche, formaggi a pasta molle o mediamente stagionati, verdure e aperitivi.
Uve: Merlot 60% e Cabernet Sauvignon 40%.
Gradazione alcolica: 13°.
Temperatura di servizio: 12-14°C.
GRAPPA PODERE ARUNDINETO
Distilled from the pomace produced by our prestigious corporate vineyards, the Grappa Riserva of Podere Arundineto, with its characteristic amber color, is a refined and elegant product with unmistakable hints of licorice and vanilla.
After a long refinement period, it′s bottled in small quantities, which make it even more valuable.
This distillate completes and enriches our wine production.

OLIVE OIL

This is a typical product of our countryside, encapsulating all its characteristics.
The olives are harvested in the initial phase of maturation to absorb and preserve the freshness, fruity and spicy aromas, the consistency, and the body, typical of the High Maremma.
